Why APC Failed Woefully In South East – Nwosu


Following the Anambra State governorship election held on Saturday, former Imo State governorship candidate on the platform of Action Alliance (AA) during the 2019 election, Uche Nwosu has berated the All Progressives Congress (APC) over its constant poor performance in the elections held in South-East region.

Daily Independent had earlier reported that the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Charles Soludo won 17 local governments areas in the Anambra state election among 19 LGA where elections are held in the state.

Reacting to the low performance of APC in the just concluded election, Nwosu described the poor performance of the party as self-inflicted.

Speaking in an interview with journalists on Monday in Abuja, the former APC candidate who decamped to AA in 2019 said that the declining fortune of the APC in the South East is a result of the poor reward system.

According to the former Chief of Staff to former Governor, Rochas Okorocha, the party has undermined its founding fathers and old members in preference of new members who lack the charisma to drive the party. Continue Reading
