1400

President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to London for 10 days to seek medical attention and take a rest, his verified Twitter handle announced on Sunday.
During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist over a persistent ear infection in his left ear, otherwise called ‘Meniere Disease’, a challenge which has drastically reduced the president’s outings in the last one week.

    • No wonder he doesn’t hear the complains of Nigerians. This country needs God’s help, but many Christians are sleeping and blaming Buhari. As Christians [our economy isn’t in the hands of man but God] the Bible says “while men slept the enemy crept in”. The bible also says we should pray for our leaders in authority. If I may ask, when was the last time Christians gathered and pray to God to give our leaders good ideas so they can rule well?

  1. I am sorry for those who joke with some ones health. It could be u tmw . Be careful in what u write bcos it may hit on u some day. I wish Mr. President a speedy recovery. And u there d bible says do not judge . Also not hatred is a serious sin. Be warned

  3. No wonder he is just reacting like Baboon
That is why he is not hearing any advicce from any body even his voters is angry with him
    Sorry for the ear problem

    SORRY SIR

  4. And tomorrow if one from his cabinet or prosecuter (perhaps courts gave the permission) wants to go abroad for thesame medical treatment, u will denie them access to such travel. What an injustice!

    • Only the rogous are prevented or did Buhari stop Adenuga, Dangote or Odogu from taking medical treatment abroad? Pls be sincere in your comment. Insecerity is an offspring of a corrupt mind.

    • My brother Audu u re not d only one who vote, like, and loved this man (PMB), but i see no reason why u denied someone to seek medical treatment in abroad, when ask why? U said bcos they were the who own the power for morethan one and half decade, and leave our health centres and genaral hospitals in delepidation and now complain to the judge that; there is no enough good hospitals to cater for ur health, (am speaking with refrence to Olisa metuh’s case), why not PApa PMB endure to bring any equipments and even hire doctors, (thought i don’t think we don’t have such doctors) we lack in Nigeria if truly he’s patriotic.

  5. Hmmm! My take is: to mourn with those who mourn and to rejoice with those who rejoice! So for once, l say to put president, go on your short leave, take care of yourself and enjoy the company of your children there and return and do what you must do to move this country forward and fulfil your election promises. Ogwugo (finish)!

  6. See… I don’t understand this hypocrisy. Is he going on vacation in London so he could treat his ear; or is he going to treat his ear in London so he could have a vacation? After budgeting 3.2 billion for aso rock clinic, this shameless man is going abroad to receive common ear treatment. So Buhari cannot buy Chloramphenicol ear drops!! Abi is it no longer in circulation?

  7. Deaf president loading….. Going for Medicare abroad, wasting tax payers money, when we have a standard hospital in akwa ibom,,,,,,hypocrisy is when u travel to get medical treatment abroad and deny other thesame opportunity

  8. A natural proven solution for infertility!
How many years now have you been trying to conceive? 2, 6, 10 years or more? You can still conceive irrespective of what you have been told. If it can work for other people, it can work for you too. FERTILITY BOOSTER is all you need to give infertility the final smack down it deserves.

  13. BUHARI HAS THROAT CANCER…….We challenge his spin doctors to prove us wrong. For very long they have been lying and deceiving Nigerians, coming up with some ridiculous excuses and cover ups. This is exactly the way Late Ex-president Yaradua’s illness was covered up until they couldn’t hide it again, and they smuggled his dead body into Nigeria in the middle of the night. Buhari is currently going through the same journey or transition…….COULD THIS BE BUHARI’S FINAL FAREWELL?……We Wish Him What He Wished Nnamdi Kanu, Dasuki, IPOB, Niger Deltans, Avengers, Agatu people, Shiites, and the 5% Nigerians that didn’t vote for him.

  14. #Back_to_sender for all dis useless monkey Igbos wey no even get common sense of thinking. Na God go punish u all, u be wahala for dix 9ja sef. U na no go rule forever u beta find ur way, na so so tribalism go kill u all. Useless ppl on earth, Na God go punish ur various generation once again,

  15. All the good praises that we may praise you, and all the evil words that we may say against you, can neither keep you alive nor take away your life. GOD is the owner of your life. You live because HE so wished, HE ll take it Whenever HE wishes. God’s protection, speedy recovery and wisdom of SOLOMON is my prayer to you Mr President.

  16. liars of all things what is ear infection that cant be treated in nigeria even in many villages it is treated perfectly, it is only continious mumu people that will agree with these ASSOCIATION OF POLITICAL COWARDS OR CRIMINALS(APC) that it is because of ordinary infection that is taking him to london, degree liars of 21st century infact #Una Never Chi Chomthing#

  17. Yet noone shld travel abroad 4 treatment, nd fmr gov akpabios hospital was recommended 4 metuh by a judge 4 treatmnt, cant mr. prssident also go dere 4 treatment? Why doesnt obama or cameron come 2 nigeria 4 treatmnt also hmmmn deres Gods sure judgemnt on d way

  18. Screaming doesn’t stop die, dsame Buhari dat say their is no need to be going abroad 4 treatment he now fly 4 treatment in abroad, if u believe apc government dey will ask u drink poison as medicine, which kind of hypocrisy government is this one? I now believe what bible say at the end time many false prophets will come in name, dey already has come apc ar d ones criminals party fill with false prophets and deceivers.

  19. 3.2 million was budgeted for aso rock clinic and jet the flying carpet is on his way to London to treat ear, He should remember that he pledge to Nigeria his country, to be FAITHFULL LOYAL and HONEST, but like this ????

    • Ear infection my foot! Wat anitbiotics have they in London dat we dnt have here. He’s down wth a disease of a chronic onset, wch is craftily hoarded from the citizens at large. A Nation dat thrives on lies nd deceit! Nigerian Doctors have successfully treated millions of ear infections in the past, so wats the big deal wth his? Has nothing to do wth hospital facilities or medical knowledge, but sheer HYPOCRISY as u rightfully pointed out! You ban importation of foreign items to encourage patronisation of our local comodities, yet you jet out at will for treatment of a supposed ‘ear infection’! What rubbish!

  20. @Godsman..see hen,9JA here controlled by vhiz junketeer iz a total blunder fr d nation….”goin on vacation”…..wanna tel me dat Aso rock clinic has no medical equipment to treat d so called ‘ear infection’ Abi no qualified doctors here to treat him…..mtcheew..#derizGOD

  21. Our God is a merciful God, i love Buhari and i pray for a speedy recovery, wish u Gods divine touch. Let ur light so shine b4 men Mr President that they may see ur good work and glorify God in heaven Be heal IJN say amen if u believe

  22. Some of us talk carelessly and l don’t blame the masses cause we are enlighten but sentiments is obo problem. He response of some leaders again his problem. Senator Godswill Akpabio that boasted of having built one of the best hospital in Africa was involved in accident, run abroad, does it mean his hospital can’t treat him. Again, how many of them travelled for treatment and disclosed their ailment and to end it all,he has his life to live.

  23. He has money to treat himself bt he has no money to treat d poor old woman (mai koko) dat gave him 1 milion naira for his campaign………….. Na waooo for dis change.

    • No dear, but there is need to tell the truth and practice the truth… Just imaging little child of five years saying Buhari is the reason behind the hardship in the the country… These children are the future leaders, what kind of foundation are we laying for them?.. My dear, am not of any party, I belong to all…. The effect of wat is going on in the life of our little children is wat am concern about

  24. Anyway, My Humble Praya 2 Hm Is That He Should Get His Ear Infection Treatd. Bt He Should Make Sure He's Listen To The Mases sufrin And Lamentation Wen He Returns. Perhaps, it could be The ear Infection Was The Reason He Couldnt Giv Nigerian A Listening Ear. Bt Pls Mr. Presidnt, Here In My State (AKS), we have a well-equipt hospitpal that can handle that since u can fine any hospital fit in this country that can du dat and again, i sugest u av 1 in kastina state dan spendin our money travelin 2 abroad 4 medical atentn.

  25. He has not seen anything oh this is just the beginning, maybe the next one he will just go blind he will surely reap what he sole. The crying of those innocent people that died will hunt him down,he should watch and see evil man you will never go unpunished.

  26. I wonder how long Igbos will continue their hatred for this man? And to think that most Igbo ladies who are suppose to be tender hearted will make such unwarranted show the level of mental derangement the igbos are confronted with.

    • You are a senseless man, why should u call igbos on this matter , did igbo tell your buhari to travel to London for ear drop , How many times hv u travel to take treatment aboard, are u not a Nigerian, is wrong for a president to travel aboard for medical treatment,he is only proving we don’t hv doctors and hospitals, that’s the reason they cannot pay salaries to encourage workers, this is corruption noted

    • I remember d yorubas carrying Abacha’s imaginary coffin b4 he died, why? You do know why. If the igbos are being killed by fulani herdsmen, getting beheaded for blasphemy in Kano + a lot of other injustice which PMB seems not to care about. The question is; with your submission, who is mentally deranged? Why drag a whole group into the mud? It’s guys like you who will be so adamant to prove their error was made in wisdom that gives our leaders the premise to treat us this way. So far so good, PMB’s administration is shit, admit it. When it gets better, we ‘ll talk about it, but for now, this ain’t change, this is retrogression.

    • PMB will be back fitter to attend burial ceremonies of all those wishing him dead.amen. Igbos played PDP 4 16yrs yet nothing to show for it.if there is,someone should count them one by one.

    • @Adeniyi Braun. One cannot blame the actions of Fulani herdsmen on Buhari as these herdsmen have always incurred into territories even before the advent of Nigeria. The igbos u are supporting lacked the political sagacity and prowess to integrate themselves into political space and arena order than cry for secession because they are political weaklings waiting for the declaration of Biafra in order to annex territories of minorities and subjugate them. The yorubas under the oppressive regime of Abacha fought to liberate the entire nation through the instrumentalities of intellectualism, mass media and precise and courageous criticism which is quite different from the violent and separatist view point of the igbos. Buhari is a victim of the senseless and irresponsible administration of Jonathan who could not imbibe simple home economics attitude of savings, so weak could not raise budgetary allocations of the country with increased oil price. With deregulation in place fuel subsidy no longer exist and those blaming this administration for the present calamity should visit psychatrists for routine maintenance and check up.

    • PMB will be back fitter to attend burial ceremonies of all those wishing him dead.amen. Igbos played PDP 4 16yrs yet nothing to show for it.if there is,someone should count them one by one.

    • simeon lanre nt all yoruba pple r daft like u,_u r suffering and smiling is it bcos osinbajo was d vice president?wt benefit or gain or improvement av u derieved frm dis present cluless govt? to say d truth as it is wil b difficult 4 u

    • @uchenna stupid kwara is culturally yoruba and by my own understanding the yorubas are in the majority and all those who have governed the state are mostly yoruba and even Saraki is more yoruba than Fulani. It is the Igbos that are going accross the country building houses and investing everywhere yet they are calling for Biafra as if they can lift their properties and investment on their head to Biafra.

    • @Fasuyi i wonder why u claim to be wise. Where u better of under Jonathan? If u are not a graduate i suppose from ur secondary school knowledge u can tell the negative effect of a country deriving its major revenue from one source if u cannot tell then u are a fool. Why did Jonathan not diversify the economy and why did he not safe when the country was bouyant and why did he loot the country dry? I can see the bandwagon of effect of the igbo is taking toll on u. U are fool indeed.

    • Y are u people wasting yur time with this Simeon lanre? William Shakespeare said and I quote ‘the worst set of humans are those that don’t knw and do not want to know:avoid them’. He is entitled to his opinion. Am just shocked that a man like you at that stage can argue blindly even when statistics and facts stare you in the face. Let me ask you two questions
1.how many times has Obama, queen Elizabeth, Putin… Etc been flown out to receive medical care??
2.you said Jonathan dosent knw basic economics to handle his administration. What was our reserve when Jonathan handed over to Buhari?
Do u knw that when obj handed over to yaradua our oil reserves were low and we were selling as low as $18 per barrel?? I was the so called idiot Jonathan that revived our economy with the help of ngozi and the present emir even wen we were told to devalue Naira. Nigerians are nt fools. You can’t deceive us. Call a spade a spade!!!!

    • @Pope try and get ur facts right. Oil never sold as low as that. Ur hues and cries cannot safe the situation at hand. When a corrupt administration like that of Jonathan only thrived on luck and not good will of the people and for how long will that be? Jonathan‘s voodoo economic policies that simply could not make judicious use of resources at the centre to increase infrastructural funding was responsible for the mess we are in. If common sense did not tell him to fund infrastructure should the common not dictate to tell him to safe. Imagine ur heroic Jonathan budgeting a palstry sum of N18 Billion for a fiscal year to fund a critical sector like POWER All of u here are now blaming Buhari for Jonathan‘s irresponsibility.

    • It seems you father is among the beast we have in this country because the way you argue shows you know the truth but you can’t Tell the truth because are a son of a beast.I pray someone like will never exist in next generation Amen .

    • @udeh what depravity? Are facts not there to be seen. It is rather u that is bereaved of sensible ideas. Nigerians should not visit the sins, incompetence and neglegence of the former on the later.

    • @ Chibuzor u are better qualified and u fit into the enclave of beasts. U dont have anything meaningful to contribute and that makes u brain dead. Ur sense of reasoning is contrived in a way that makes u act like animal and thus responsible for ur senseless and inability to make meaning of urself and that simply qualifies u to be a member of four legged wild animal that should be shot dead on sighting.

    • Woe to this Nation, can i read a good comment here?, all i read here is insult upon insult, where is the learned and wise being in us? i strongly believe that we all are gradutes or undergradutes of prestigious Institutions and is this the way we were trained?. Pls let us all make use of our wisdom, and remember two wrongs does not make a right and thousands of flies eating shit does not make shit a good food . Thanks

    • You call Jonathan’s economic policies ‘vodoo’.pls tell me wat economic policies hve been set aside in this present administration and hve it’s signs of good results.. I am an accountant and this is my field. You should be the one to get yur facts rite.

    • @pope as an accountant, does a government that voted more than 400 billions on infrastructure in the face of dwindling revenue accruable to government and being the highest since the inception of this dispensation not worthy of commendation? Even if the revenue reciept of the goverment is negative, the government is in the right track so long as deficit were as a result of increased spendings on critical infrastructures and social welfare. These were not the case under the defunct administration of Jonathan.

    • @Harrison it is u and ur igbo cohorts that should be sunk in Lagos Lagoon as the Oba of Lagos promised. The igbos are like Biblical Cain wondering about the whole nation because of their greed and self centredness.

    • @ Simeon lanre.. Investments are of various kinds.. Short term, medium and long term.. U are right about the votes on infrastructure bt we don’t need long term investments right now.. For example.. Nigeria is the highest exporters of cassava nw in the world .this was conceived and initiated during Jonathan’s administration. I was expecting you to talk abt the deal he had with China.. That is the only smart move I hve seen. Bt policies take time to Cme into place.. The truth is our president had no structure and promised us imaginary tins during his campaign. As time goes on you will understand what is going on..

    • @Tosin excited over ur daftness? U are blind to the truth and ur heart is stony to recieve wisdom. U will soon end up being an outcast as the igbos and be hated like them foolish idiot. Keep lamenting and wailing and join the igbos to abuse constituted authority one day u will be drappened upon. U think wailing will improve economic fortune? Then keep on wailing.

    • @pope long term investment is critical in laying enduring and solid structure for economic growth. A country that wants to develop to its full potential should take congnisance of long term investment as these investments serve as leverage for enduring economic growth. Short term investment should be premised on putting certain structure in place such as improved infrastructure and with release of more than 300 bilion naira by way of infrastructural spendings or capital spendings as stated by the minister, the economy will be galvanised paving way for artisan to invest in one business or the other as a result of in flow of capital while taking advantage of improved infrasture. The chinese will only invest in sectors that will yield quick returns on investment and viability or return on investment may spur commitment on long term investment in the economy.

    • Simeon if every government embarks on long-term investments, what we feed on? Let me remind you that long term investment are 25-30yrs before yielding. So imagine if all our leaders embark on long term loans. 1.how long do they sit in power?? Maximum of 8yrs. That’s nt enough time to execute a scheme. The next president has his own long term plan when he comes into power. At the end of the day,no plan gets completed. That is Nigerias problem!!! Jonathan had the 7point agenda. After that, Buhari comes arund with corruption and Fiting insurgency. Hw does that add to the value of Naira?? So Simeon long term goals only work wen the next leader is ready to follow.. Nt wen everyone has his plans

    • Simeon Lanre if we depend on long term investment it takes us no were, in Nigeria there is hardly continuity in passed administration’s project or investment, every sitting president has his own agenda and plans which not exceed 8years maximum 2terms.The issue I see is that Apc don’t have a structure or working frame. So far what they re working on are what the past administration laid down name in power, agriculture etc. The only smart move made was the China bilateral relationship.PMB on two occasions has refused to visit States in Nigeria and he has visited over 21 countries abroad. These re States he slept during campaign what does that show to the people? I leave this to ponder on.

    • Pls ladies.. This is nt a tribal war..u guys shd leave our tribes out of this.. I am neither am igbo or Yoruba man Bt I knw this two tribes hve a strong part to play in our economy bt financial, educationally and otherwise.

    • @udeh at least house boy have access to his master what about the igbos that are neither here nor there only to constitute themselves as economic and political nuisance.

    • @pope i agree with u in as much as small scale investment are important for economic development a long term investment helps to sustain growth. Our import dependence status is as a result of lack commitment to long term investment such as real sector which is the hallmark of economic growth. If Nigeria becomes a net exporter of cars for example and also net exporter of other industrial commodity the GDP shoots high and we may decide to devalue our currency at will to boost exports because the real sector will absorb the shocks of devaluation and as this is done more earnings are made. The strenght any economy is premised on real sector because it is the real engine of growth. However short term investments have immediate benefit to cusion unemployments and to put the part of growth which may be sustainable for a while.

    • @simeon lanre u r been brainwashed by aboki fulani pple, can u tell me y all buhari’s promise as been cancelled?or u shud table d fact of economic improvement by dis clueless administratn,,u r too retarded for me to go into arguement wit u on my field

    • @pope there are no quick fix to sustainable growth. Developed nations of the world marshalled out plans spanning 20 to 30 years and subsequent government tap into these plans from one generation to another. U dont plan for immediate benefit alone, u plan for long term benefits for generations in advance. Those are some of the reasons that China is catching up on US. Any plan which is set to meet immediate goals and objective only are usually not sustainable. The last administration had enough even tripple resources at its door step but could not even allocate resources by way of increased budgeting and here we have a president that is all out to pluck leakages and source for funds in financing a capital budget that is above N1 trillion which is the highest in any era in the face of dwindling resources.

    • @fasuyi The administration of Jonathan does not deserve much praise. Here was a man that abruptly increased pump price while people were not back from their journey. Here a man that did not do any major development throughout the life span of his administration in the south south southeast given the enormous resources at his beck and call, shared our arms money. If prices of commodity were not as high as now was because he used our external reserve to purchase dollars to dollarise our economy and also granted massive waiver for rice importation thereby denying customs of needed revenue. If he had such enormous resources at his disposal yet nothing serious to be shown interms of budget allocation. Here we have president trying to pluck lekeages and to judicious use of resources. Here our capital allocation is more than a trillion which has never been so before now. An elementary pupil appreciate savings yet one wonders how a Phd holder does not know that the rule of law sometimes may need to be suspended for a season for the sake of the economy. Jonathan was always quick to add that the governors were quick to take him to court about the illegality or otherwise of the account which the court rulled in favor of the governors. The former president should have known that heaven will not fall if he had suspended court judgement to save us of the present plunge we are in. If a military dictator like former president obasanjo could insist on savings which was able to help the nation cusion the efffect of 2008 global economic down turn, one wonders what went wrong with the so called intelluctual called Jonathan Goodluck Phd? Here all of u wants quick fix and magic from the old poor Buhari for the economy, a fit ur so called hero could not achieve in the face of enormous resources.
