Military plane carrying air force cadets crashes, killing 22


A military transport plane conveying air force cadets crashed and burst into blazes almost a thruway in north-eastern Ukraine on Friday evening, killing at least 22 individuals ready.

The Antonov A 26 plane crashed while attempting to land during a training excersise , Ruslan Khomchak, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, said in an announcement.

Khomchak clarified that at least two additional people were basically harmed, NAN reports.

A video posted by Anton Gerashchenko, the Deputy Interior Minister, on Facebook demonstrated the airplane on fire lying close to a street and smoke surging upwards in the night sky.

An investigation has just begun on what made the plane accident.

The accident occurred around two kilometers (1.2 miles) from a military airport.

The cadets were from the Kharkiv University of Air Force, which is controlled by the nation’s Defense Ministry.

Responding, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s office stated:“A state commission is being created to identify all the circumstances and causes of this disaster.

Search and rescue work continues on the spot.”
