Kano pays NECO exam fees for 29,031 students

The Kano State Government says it has paid N336 million as fees for 29,031 students for the 2022 National Examination Council examinations.

The State Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, disclosed this to newsmen on Monday in Kano.

Garba was reacting to a media report insinuating that the state students might miss this year’s NECO examination over the government’s inability to settle their examination fees.

He explained that payment covered 15,313 students that had 9 credits from their qualifying examination, 1,018 students living with disabilities. Continue Reading
