Covid-19: Nigeria records 479 new cases, total now 156,496

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has affirmed 479 new cases of (COVID-19) in 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The total number of recorded cases in the country since the breakout of the infection, has increased to 156,496.

The health agency made the declaration yesterday night while giving a report on daily cases and deaths by means of its confirmed Twitter handle.

According to the report, around 9 people died in the past 24 hours because of complications from the dreaded infection.
