Cambridge University To Hand Over Looted Statue To Nigeria


The traditional ruler of Edo state who is referred to as the Oba of Benin city, was at Cambridge University in England, to sign documents on the last step in the handover of a statue of a cock, known as the “Okukur”, that was stolen by the British colonial forces in 1897.
