Tension in Ikorodu as Suspected Badoo Cult Group Members Slaughter Mother and Her Two Children

Ikorodu-based dreaded killer gang, Badoo, on Wednesday returned to Agbowa, Ikorodu area of Lagos with a vengeance, killing a mother and her two children in its usual gruesome style, according to The Independent.
The victims were identified as Iyabo Alaba, Rachael Alaba, 10, her daughter and David Alaba, 4, her son, who lived at No 1, Alhaji Olatunda Street, Temu, a border village with Epe.
The three victims died after their heads were smashed with objects suspected to be the gang’s signature grinding stone. It was gathered that the victims had just returned to the community less than 24 hours before they met their untimely death after a two-week break from the community.
Eyewitness account says the Badoo gang members gained access to the said premises of a Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), after they scaled the fence around the premises of the Church building leaving the family of three in a pool of their own blood. The woman’s husband was however not within the premises when the assailants struck.
Unconfirmed rumours say the woman’s husband, simply identified as Alaba, is a former member of the cult but had pulled out after he repented. The murder of his wife and two children is seen as a revenge mission by the gang against a supposed deserter.
