$4.34 billion worth of contracts was signed with China’s Sinoma International Engineering Company today to build cement plants across Africa, Nigeria’s largest listed firm said by Nigeria’s Dangote Cement.
The plants will add 25 million tonnes to Dangote’s existing capacity of almost 50 million tonnes and will be built in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Nepal, Niger, Senegal and Zambia according to Group Executive Director Edwin Devakumar.
